Understanding People - Amplifying Voices - Making A Positive Difference - Creating A Better Future.

As people who will know me well, I am a great advocate of Simon Sinek and Tony Robbins. Here Robbins gives some quick tips on how to make tough decisions. This involves the embedded habit of asking in any situation what is the ultimate outcome I am after through this decision. This provides clarity and clarity is power. When you know what you want (your outcome) and your why (purpose) decision making becomes simplified. It is then about having a strong mindset, executing, following through, taking massive action (don’t dabble) and have a strong belief and meaning that will pull you through any ruts in road. The attached is a great read.

Life is filled with choices. Real leaders understand that to move things forward, they must make tough decisions. At times, the fear of making the wrong decisions grips us so tightly we opt for indecision, allowing the fear of failure to immobilize us and impede our progress. To break the cycle, leaders can adopt simple principles and processes that Tony Robbins — and many of the executives he coaches — rely on. These tools are simple, but practical steps for making those necessary tough decisions.
