As we reflect on our personal and professional lives, we realise that everything happens for a reason. Every action we take is guided by a purpose—whether it’s defined by focus, goals, intent, needs, or desires. Yet, purpose alone is not enough to achieve meaningful results. It’s the process—the journey—that transforms purpose into reality. This process journey teaches us invaluable lessons through successes, efforts, and experiences. The process evolves with time, shaping and guiding us toward growth and improvement. By embracing this evolution and applying the wisdom gained through the process to experiences, we align our efforts with our purpose. This alignment of purpose with the process creates a natural flow where results follow effortlessly. As we welcome the New Year, we have an opportunity to renew ourselves and set resolutions that resonate with our aspirations. The New Year symbolizes a fresh start—a continuation of the process of growth and progress. When we remain committed to the journey, every moment becomes rewarding, and success becomes a natural outcome. Wishing my LinkedIn community a very Happy New Year! 🎉 May 2025 bring abundant blessings, joy, and success into our lives. Let’s move forward with purposeful dedication to the process, creating happiness and achievements every step of the way!

As we stand on the threshold of a new year, heart full of hope and eyes set towards the horizon of 2025, let us take a moment to reflect on the journey that has brought us here. Each moment, whether filled with joy or challenge, has shaped us, deepened our wisdom, and ignited our resilience. New Year’s Eve is not just a date on the calendar; it is a sacred pause, a time for healing and renewal. Let us leave behind the weight of 2024, carrying forward the lessons learned and the strength gained. May we honor our struggles as they have cultivated our compassion, empathy, and understanding of ourselves and others. In this season of regrowth, let us cultivate the seeds of prosperity within us. May 2025 blossom with opportunities for success, not just in our personal endeavors but in the ways we uplift and support one another. As we set our intentions for the new year, let us focus on prosperity that exceeds material wealth—a prosperity that encompasses joy, love, connection, and dreams realized. Together, let us embrace the transformative power of new beginnings. Cheers to each of us, and to the paths we’ll forge. May this new year fill our hearts with light, our minds with clarity, and our spirits with unyielding hope. Here’s to a thriving 2025, where healing guides us, our dreams take flight, and success knows no bounds! Happy New Year!

Understanding the People in Our Lives: Leaf People🍃🌿 Branch People 🎋 and Root People🌳 In our journey through life, we encounter many individuals who play different roles and leave varying degrees of impact. I recently came across a profound analogy that beautifully categorizes these people into three types: Leaf, Branch, and Root People. Leaf People 🍃: Leaf people are like leaves on a tree. They are there for a season, providing shade and beauty when the weather is favorable. However, when the winds of change blow, they easily detach and drift away. These are the acquaintances and casual connections in our lives—valuable for the moment, but not necessarily enduring. Branch People 🌿: Branch people offer more stability than leaves. They are strong and supportive, but can break under too much pressure. These individuals are friends or colleagues who stand by us in good times and challenging times. However, they have their limits and might not always be able to bear the weight of our struggles. Root People 🌱: Root people are the foundation of our lives. They are deeply embedded and provide essential support and nourishment, much like the roots of a tree. These are our closest confidants—family members, lifelong friends, and mentors who remain steadfast regardless of circumstances. Root people help us grow, stay grounded, and weather any storm. Understanding these categories helps us appreciate the unique roles different individuals play in our lives. It reminds us to cherish and nurture our root relationships, value the branches for their support, and appreciate the leaves for their transient beauty. Take a moment to reflect and express gratitude for each, recognizing their distinct contributions to your journey ❤️❤️

FINAL CHAPTER OF OUR LIFE When we close the final chapter of our life we should leave this wonderful planet by looking back with fulfillment, knowing we focused on what truly mattered. In a world brimming with distractions and endless pursuits, it’s easy to spend time on things that ultimately add little to our happiness or sense of purpose. Prioritizing relationships, meaningful work, and personal growth can transform our journey, offering a legacy rooted in love, kindness, and genuine contributions to others. When we eliminate meaningless clutter, we open up space for clarity and joy, living with intention and aligning our actions with our core values. This approach allows us to leave this world with peace, knowing we’ve contributed positively to those around us, nurtured our passions, and engaged with life in a way that resonates deeply. In the end, it’s these meaningful pursuits that grant our lives true richness and fulfillment.

EXACTLY Dan! I call them " immediately actionable progress goals " rather than process goals so that success is reached EVERY time you do it. I've successfully used them to do very challenging exercises that aren't especially fun for most of the last 40 or so years. tim #bgreen🌏 P.S. The immediately actionable part means the goals MUST: 1 ) Be something you can act on IMMEDIATELY, or at any time. 2 ) Are COMPLETELY within your control. That is the only thing stopping you is YOU. Bad gym hours, exercise at home. Too late, do SILENT exercises like kettlebell swings. Too late & noisy, do them outside at a park. It's raining, work out in a covered parking area like I sometimes do. P.P.S. Dump the New Year's Resolution & replace it with the EFD ( Every F'ing Day ) resolutions instead😉
I do research in behavioral economics and try to describe it in plain language. These findings have enriched my life, and my hope is that they will do the same for you.
For those of us making resolutions this year, Here's why they fail, and how we can make them easier. Happy New Year
