These photos are priceless. Just love seeing the internal cleatbar ladder brackets. I hand made these myself in the late 60’s and know just how much work goes into them and wow just look at the iron bolted core limbs absolute work of art. I’ve laid lots of core plate and anyone that has knows how hard it was to align the core bolts and insulating tube together. Thanks Siemens Energy for sharing

Thank you for the enthusiasm, many of you guessed it right! The answer is: b. 1912 ---------------------------------- #1903 The heavy current business and the production of transformers by Siemens & Halske and Schuckert & Co. merged to form Siemens-Schuckertwerke GmbH. #1912 ⭐ Manufacture of five transformers for the first European 100-kV transmission line. #1917 First use of a ten-axle low-loader wagon, 20.6 meters long and with a load capacity of 112 tons, for the transport of a transformer.

Such an incredible legacy! I’m going to guess 1912. It’s amazing to see how the facility has played such a crucial role in the energy transition over the years. Excited to learn more about the innovations happening there!
