🚢 Last week, MSC World America embarked on its maiden voyage – while charting a course toward decarbonisation.   Shell is proud to be the fuelling partner for the MSC World America, supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) via the world’s largest LNG bunkering network.   As the sister ship to MSC World Europa, this new cruise ship builds on proven reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, air pollutants, and methane slip. [1]   This collaboration with MSC Cruises demonstrates how real progress in decarbonising shipping is already underway with LNG, while laying the groundwork for bio-LNG and e-LNG in the future.
