What I found, and, and I'm maybe a little late to this game, but this has been very clear to me recently, is a lot of times the best dentist, the most successful dentist, the highest performing dentist aren't just the best individual producers, but they're the best growers of people around them. Because day in, day out, no matter how superhuman you are, you can't push the boulder up the hill by yourself every single day. The great ones, whether they realize it or not, that built an army of people around them to support them. Because otherwise your floor is really low. If you have a really high performing office, whether you're GP, whether you're Indo, whether you're OMS, whether you're any other kind of specialty, your floor is dictated not by how you perform, but how your team performs. You might be responsible for a lot of your ceiling. But if you want consistency and you want to actually enjoy what you do every day, then putting emphasis on your own development and then your team's development, and then you get something resembling a stable output from the engine that you've built.
