Sponges are very ordinary. The invisible tool of the kitchen and bathroom, meant to wipe, scrub and clean. But what's not ordinary is what happens to 96% of us when that sponge meets your favorite jam and the kitchen is now your stage and you FULLY step into your inner Britney, Celine, Snoop, Beyonce...or Andre 3000 and Big Boi aka Outkast aka the best hip-hop duo ever. Definitely not ordinary. It was so fun to take this very human truth and flip the ordinary into the extraordinary for our partners at Scotch Brite/3M with our friends at Mssng Peces and Cabin Editing Company. A big thank you to my Gotham team for multiple and memorable conversations around kitchen body-rolling, booty-shaking and someone might have made a helmet from the heavy duty sponges on set.
