Did you know? After decaffeination, CBD extraction is the second market that has pushed supercritical CO2 technology into the spotlight. And it’s no coincidence. With supercritical CO2, you get: → A pure extract, with no chemical solvents 🧪 → A safer process, with no toxic residues 🔬 → An eco-friendly solution, with recyclable CO2 🌍 Our innovation, the cold trap, takes it even further: It allows the extraction of terpenes from fresh flowers, resulting in a richer and more aromatic final product. Why is this technology becoming the gold standard for CBD extraction? Which equipment should you choose for optimal yield? Set up a complete production line, from CBD extraction to purification — all with supercritical CO2. Find all the answers in the comments 👇
How much material was ran for that return and how long did it take?
Très utile
The mainstream uses of SCF CO2 these days after decaffination are dry cleaning, oleoresin production of flavouring extracts, to dye fabric & nutraceutical extraction & purification. Yes the cannabis industry has been in the spotlight for the past 5-10 years but CO2 extracts & the technology have been mainstream for over 30 years, with the Russians using subcritical CO2 for all their flavour work going back to the early 1960's, prior to SCF taking off in the USA & Europe in the 1970's.
