💡 Innovation Forum 2025 💡
Leading futurist and innovation specialist Ant Morse delivered an inspiring speech, we heard from employee networks, academic experts and even hosted a ‘Dragon's Den’ session featuring senior leaders.
Today's innovation forums, third one that we've run and I said at the start, I hope it's gonna be bigger and better. And I think we proved that State innovation is about creating collaborations, ecosystems, tapping into a vast pool of talent and ideas. It's an incredible event. The real focus on innovation is been incredibly informative and he's very collaborative, that's for sure. Consumption is going to increase in terms of electricity and there are some important challenges ahead around networks, around generation. We're not going to get there. Doing the same thing over and over again. There's many industries. Innovations are nice to do. It's a need to do. It's about doing them quickly. There's not just that one company effort. Collaboration is the key to making this happen. Whatever organization you work for, you will have a lot of talent and expertise, insight. But there is a lot of talent and expertise beyond your organization. If you've got ideas, don't sit on that idea because it might just happen if you tell someone about it.
