Scotland's Railway’s Post

🏗️ We pulled on our PPE and headed out to meet Network Rail's Karen Connor at Clarkston to hear how things went as we lifted the station's new footbridge into position over the railway (and a row of shops!) with a 650-tonne crane. Work is on time for the East Kilbride route to reopen in mid-May! ✅ Network Rail | Transport Scotland | ScotRail | Story Contracting Limited

I noticed this morning the gleaming copper OLE wire also up between Giffnock and Clarkston. Never hear a peep (or horn toot).

Love it Karen, good to see the 🍊on to. Another one for Om and his teams growing collection. Location and crane challenges but got there in the end and top class from Story reacted to everything put in their way. Let’s get wiring and then testing 🚊 ⚡️
