Schimenti Construction Company’s Post

Schimenti Construction partnered with SKIMS to deliver the brand’s first New York City flagship, a stunning eight-story space on iconic Fifth Avenue, with 6,570 SF dedicated to retail. Guided by the vision of Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede, the project included a full interior demolition, complete MEP system replacement, and the creation of multiple levels for sales and back-of-house operations. Designed to embody SKIMS’ signature monochromatic aesthetic, the store blends luxury and minimalism, offering a sophisticated yet welcoming environment in one of the world’s premier shopping destinations. The build features high ceilings, rounded architectural transitions, and recessed lighting, enhancing the store’s warm, calming atmosphere. Cream-colored walls and seamless floor finishes create a modern, cloud-like setting where tonal product displays take center stage. Each element was carefully designed to elevate the customer experience, seamlessly integrating the brand’s identity with high-quality craftsmanship and a sleek, contemporary build. #SchimentiBuilt
