When employees feel appreciated, they work harder. It's not just about the paycheck; it's about feeling valued and recognized for their hard work. Recognizing employees' efforts boosts morale and motivates them to keep doing their best. When employees feel appreciated, they are more likely to stay loyal to the company and do more. Appreciated employees work harder, leading to better results. A simple "great job" and open appreciation in team meetings can go a long way in creating a motivated and dedicated team. I've seen that this word is rarely used in many organizations; instead, "team member" is used. They correct you by saying, "We don't have employees; we have team members," when you remark, "your employees." I know that people attempt to express their emotions through word choice, but that doesn't alter reality. An employee is still an employee. The fact that an employee is an employee—working under a contract, receiving compensation for their labor, and having the freedom to work for another company at any time—is unaffected by the term "team member." You shouldn't be afraid to use such terms because they don't reflect poorly on you. The words don't matter if your organization has a positive culture. #work #culture #peace

Let's be clear: individuals should not be blamed for burnout. A helpful approach to preventing staff burnout.
The fastest way to burn your team out (guaranteed) Is to have this one common habit. Pile on the work without: Clear priorities. Offering time for breaks Asking for employee feedback. I get it. Stuff rolls downhill. You've got deadlines. Stuff needs to get done. Your boss is pushing you hard. Here's how you can break the cycle. PS. What would you add?
