At Samworth Brothers, we’re committed to inspiring young people about the diverse and exciting careers in food. That’s why our colleagues recently spent the day at Tudor Grange Samworth Academy in Leicester, bringing the food industry to life for students on their Annual Founders Day. Our colleagues led interactive sessions, giving students hands-on experience in food production, innovation, and logistics. They explored product development, created their own ideas, and saw the skills behind making a sandwich wrap. one of our state-of-the-art HGVs highlighted careers in transport and logistics, and a workshop on the chilled food supply chain showed the journey from sourcing ingredients to delivering quality food. Andy, Operations and Supply Chain Director at Samworth Brothers - Food For Now, summed up the day: “What a fabulous day! Hopefully, we have influenced and sparked some fires in students as to what they could aspire to in the future.” A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this such a valuable experience for the students. #SamworthBrothers #FoodAndFamilySince1896 #WeDoGoodThingsWithGreatFood Samworth Brothers Supply Chain
