Another #Olympics chart after day 10 of the #ParisOlympics (9 days of actual competition). This chart shows the total number of medals won by #TeamGB throughout the Paris Olympics compared to the previous four Olympic Games. We are currently up to *37* medals, just one behind where we were at the same stage of the competition in 2016 (Rio de Janeiro). The two coloured areas of the chart show the expected number of medals (as set by Sport UK) for both Paris and also from Beijing in 2008. Expectations have grown as Team GB has got better and better in recent Olympics. Amazing to think that just over halfway through Paris 2024, and Team GB have met that minimum medal target from 2008. The record tally of medals was in Rio 2016 with 79. So just 43 to go!

As Wimbledon commences, Ampere's Sports - Consumer survey, conducted across 14 markets globally, shows that 16% of people who rank #tennis as their favourite sport consider Wimbledon their favourite sports competition, more than double that of any other event.
