🗣 How do we keep children safe in a world that’s increasingly online? This week, I had the privilege of speaking at our ‘Let’s Talk Online Safety’ panel event at Samsung KX – a vital discussion on how we can better protect young people online and support the families guiding them through an increasingly complex digital landscape. I was joined by an incredible panel including Fearne Cotton, Google ’s Vanessa Kingori, OBE, Internet Matters 's Rachel Huggins, @dopeblackdads founder Marvyn H. – all bringing thoughtful and powerful perspectives on the role we each have to play. As a parent myself, this conversation really resonated. I know first-hand how difficult it can be to keep up with fast-moving technology while trying to set the right boundaries and foster trust at home. Our research shows almost a fifth of parents don’t know how to set up parental controls, and a third say their children know more about tech than they do. It’s a clear call to action – not just for families, but for all of us in the tech industry. At Samsung Electronics, we’re committed to making online safety more accessible – through intuitive tools, clearer guidance, and empowering parents and young people to have open, two-way conversations. There’s still a lot of work to do, but this event reinforced the power of collaboration and shared responsibility in driving real change. A crucial conversation, and one that couldn't be more timely. Empowering parents and young people with the right tools and knowledge is key to navigating the digital world safely. Glad to see the discussions being had! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Looks awesome!
Fantastic work. Such an important converstion!
Excellent timing to be drawing attention to this crucial topic with the huge impact this week of the chillingly brilliant Adolescence series on Netflix. Great to have the hardware manufacturers taking this seriously. Much enforcement and protection progress still to be made from some of the biggest platform and channel owners, despite the good intentions of some. Safety foremost, but also the clinically proven and crippling impact of short form content on children's learning ability.
This is very thought provoking
