Here at Samsung we are passionate about our brand and products. Some people you just can’t help but feel energized by when you talk to them about it. One of these people is Iyad Mohammed who works as a Channel Marketing Lead in our Danish office. Hopefully you can also feel the energy from our talk with him. What drew you to Samsung initially? I was drawn to Samsung because of its status as a market leader in technology and its commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation in everyday consumer electronics. The opportunity to work with a global brand known for its strong market presence and willingness to explore "never-been-done-before" ideas was incredibly appealing to me. Working here has been a place of continuous personal improvement, which has helped me enhance my skill set, expand my network, and develop an even more creative marketing approach. If you could describe Samsung in one word, what would it be and why? Visionary. Samsung consistently demonstrates a forward-thinking approach, whether through cutting-edge technology, sustainable practices, or new business models. One example is our advancement in AI integration across nearly all products, ensuring Samsung remains at the forefront of the tech industry. It’s exciting to be part of the journey toward shaping the future of consumer electronics. What’s a success story from your time here that you feel proud of? I initiated a racing event with one of our key partners, which resulted in brand awareness, social media content, and sales for the newly released Galaxy Z Fold6. Not only did this campaign strengthen our relationship with the partner, but it also paved the way to experiment with new and creative marketing initiatives for future launches. What’s a misconception people might have about channel marketing at Samsung? A common misconception is that it is all about pushing product visibility through different sales channels. In reality, it’s about building relationships with our partners, understanding their needs, and creating mutually beneficial marketing strategies. It’s a collaborative process that requires a deep understanding of the market and the ability to adapt to changing dynamics, such as consumer behavior, marketing regulations, and evolving advertising formats.
