Building Hardtech Innovation Together: The Power of Our Community
Over the past few weeks, my team and I have shared a lot about the amazing aspects of our Hardtech Innovation Program and what we offer participants. As the application period draws to a close, I want to take a moment to highlight something that’s especially close to my heart – our community. 💙
A big part of my role is hosting our weekly tours, where I show MotionLab.Berlin to people interested in joining as members. One thing I hear time and time again from visitors is how much they can sense my passion for this place and how deeply I care about the people here. I even joke that I’m the ‘nanny’ of our members and community – it’s hard not to get attached to such an amazing group!
The best way to truly experience the bond we share is through our member-only events, like our community dinners, which we hold once a month. Just this Tuesday, we had a BBQ – our first gathering since the start of summer. I won’t lie, I always feel a bit stressed preparing for these events, wondering if I’ve ordered enough food or how everything will come together.
But without fail, there’s always this magical moment when everyone steps out of their offices and workshops and asks, “How can I help?” And just like that, we’re working together, chatting, hanging out, and before you know it, everything’s ready. It’s in these moments that I feel so proud and deeply grateful to be part of such a warm and supportive community.
Last year, I saw firsthand how our community embraced the teams from Batch 3. These teams have since become an integral part of MotionLab, collaborating and supporting one another. And trust me, on your startup journey, there will be times when this community will be the most important thing keeping you afloat.
So, for those thinking about applying – yes, we offer top-notch masterclasses, a well-structured curriculum, incredible mentors, and many more. But more than that, you’ll find a community that will be there for you every step of the way.

What is Sprint-2X?
it's a 72-hour innovation marathon with 80 product visionaries, targeting 4200 hours of groundbreaking product development — equivalent to 6 months of dev effort in a normal scenario.
Date: Today (16th)-18th May 2024
These 72 hours will be an intense journey of striving for something extraordinary in coming 3 days.
Building out entire product innovation roadmap for Unberry across 5 different tracks.

🔥The teams are on fire on Day 2 of our first Underground Event for the Sprout Accelerator Autumn24 cohort.
The teams are busy utilising the network of mentors to refine and practice their pitch, before taking the stage and pitching to the group.
When you take part in the Sprout Accelerator you can expect hands on guidance in developing your pitch, then there is practice, practice, practice. It is all part of the experience!
