SailTimer Inc. has just shipped 25 Air Links for a fleet of commercial work boats. The Air Link™ is a low-cost device that connects NMEA networks to smartphone apps and our cloud database. These ships operate from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes to the Arctic. They will be contributing real-time weather data to our wind zone display on the SailTimer™ app. The Air Links are also getting other operational data off the ships. Better weather data helps ships to save on fuel costs, reduce emissions and carbon taxes, and arrive in port on time.
