Rewriting Holiday Traditions: A Non-Traditional Thanksgiving Thanksgiving has always been a big deal for many—filled with family, food, and festive traditions. But for me, it’s never been quite like that. For most of my life, I’ve struggled with the pressure to celebrate in a "traditional" way, but over time, I’ve realized that what matters most is creating a holiday that reflects my needs and values. If you’ve ever felt the weight of trying to meet others’ expectations during the holidays, or struggled to make peace with family traditions that don’t serve you, this post is for you. I’m challenging myself (and you) to be intentional about how we spend this time of year—whether it’s with loved ones or in much-needed solitude. After all, self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential. Check out the full post to learn how to experience Thanksgiving on your own terms. https://lnkd.in/g6dTxg29
