We're all nizza. Greetings everyone, It is a profound honor to address you at the Global AI Summit in the vibrant and visionary city of Kigali. A city that stands not only as a beacon for of progress for Africa, but as a global symbol for what inclusive human centered digital transformation truly looks like. Rwanda is more than a host, more than a valued member state of the Digital Cooperation Organization. Rwanda is a trailblazer. A bold leader in digital innovation. A fierce advocate for technology that uplifts people, empowers communities, and drives lasting economic prosperity. And now. Are rising force in the responsible inclusive advancement of artificial intelligence. AI is no longer just a tool for the future, it is actively reshaping our present. To harness its full potential, we must build ecosystems and governance frameworks that prioritize people, trust, and shared progress. At the Digital Cooperation Organization, we are proud to stand alongside Rwanda not only as a member state, but as a true ally in progress. Together we Fergie a partnership grounded in shared values and driven by real results. 1 shining example is that we innovate initiative. Nearly 200 women LED Msmes applied to join and 127 have already been on boarded and actually actively trading online. Each business received tailored digital training to build the skills they need to thrive in the digital economy. And 37 businesses have completed expert readiness training, unlocking pathways to international markets. And that's not all. Rwanda is now at the heart of a cross-border peer learning network alongside the The Gambia and Nigeria, setting the stage to scale this impact across DC region. This is not just progress, it's proof. Proof that when purpose feeds partnership, the possibilities are limitless. From enabling digital skills and ecommerce growth to driving policy innovation in AI collaboration, DCO is setting a global standard. For digital solidarity. And we're only just beginning. As the world races to harness the power of AI, we are showing that leadership in this space is not reserved for the largest economies. It belongs to the boldest. The most values drive, the most committed to putting people first. The DC remains fully committed to supporting Rwanda's bold ambitions to lead in AI, digital infrastructure investment and inclusive growth. And our belief in Rwanda's leadership is absolute. While I may not be there with you in person, the entire DCEO family stands with you in presence and partnership and on purpose. Let this summit be a launchpad for deeper collaboration. Let us continue to Co create, to innovate, and to unlock a future where digital and AI leadership is not only recognized, but celebrated and scaled for the benefit of all.
