Congratulations to Dean Joseph A. Barone of the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy on receiving the 2024 Bowl of Hygeia Award from the New Jersey Pharmacists Association and the American Pharmacists Association Foundation! Dean Barone’s leadership has significantly impacted pharmacy education and community health. He founded the Rutgers Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship Program—the largest of its kind in the country that is designed to provide training at pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. He has been a strong advocate for interprofessional education and community service. This recognition highlights his dedication to advancing pharmacy practice and fostering healthier communities. We are proud to celebrate his achievements and contributions!
