Last week our Team Members helped the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore pack 375 backpacks to feed Hampton Roads school-aged children who are facing food insecurity. We are always happy to help the Foodbank, and while we were there, they broke down some impressive stats for us! During our multi-year partnership, 59 Rivers Team Members have volunteered for the Foodbank (many multiple times), we have volunteered 294.5 hours providing 19,726 meals, and we have donated $32,500 providing 65,000 meals.
