Beneath the Bamboo, a Revolution Brews Green stalks whisper ancient secrets while concrete jungles crumble into dust. No masters here— only wind and wild thoughts. The revolution doesn't march, it dances through empty spaces between order and chaos, laughing at the illusion of control. Bamboo bends but never breaks, teaching wisdom to the rigid minds who built their temples on shifting sand. Nature knows no hierarchy. In shadows of leaves, we plant seeds of beautiful disorder drinking moonshine and plotting the death of should and must. Tomorrow sprouts without permission through cracks in yesterday's certainty. The strongest walls fall to the patient roots below. Listen— bamboo forests singing anarchist lullabies to children who forgot how to bow. We are all wild growth here, organized in perfect chaos, each stem a revolution growing toward the light. No flags wave in this garden. Only leaves dancing with the wind, writing manifestos in empty air about freedom that can't be named.

Feng Shui and the Bagua There are 2 sequences of the 8 Trigrams used in Xuan Kong (Time & Space) Feng Shui - the Xian Tian Bagua (also known as the Before Heaven sequence of Trigrams) and the Hou Tian Bagua (also known as the After Heaven sequence of Trigrams), and they are used to observe the cyclic interaction of yin and yang qi and determine how the movement of qi affects people.  The Xian Tian Bagua represents the 'body' as well as the ideal harmonious balance of human and natural forces while the Hou Tian Bagua represents the 'application' or 'yong' (ie energy in motion and the potential for yin/yang transformation as human and natural forces interact with each other). https://lnkd.in/gMDxj-Ru

Looking beyond the surface reveals the intricate web of connections that shape everything we see. If we truly examine a flower, we discover that it is not just a solitary object but a reflection of the entire universe. The sunlight that nourishes it, the rain that hydrates it, the soil that anchors it—all are essential elements intertwined with its existence. The wind disperses the seeds, while the farmer tends to its growth. Even insects and microorganisms play a part in its flourishing. This interconnectedness reveals that the flower is not an isolated entity; it is a product of countless factors, each contributing to its beauty and life. By looking deeply, we see that the flower embodies the complex web of life itself, where everything is interconnected, and nothing exists in isolation.

Central to the art and science of Feng Shui is the knowing that all energy is connected.  This concept is described through the interactions of Yin and Yang the Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.  The five elements represent 5 types of Qi but more accurately describe 5 phases of Qi ultimately representing all things as expressed through the Tao of ten thousand things. The phrase "ten thousand things" encompasses everything that exists in the material world, including living beings, objects, events, and experiences. It emphasizes the boundless variety and richness of the cosmos. Bell Rock in Sedona is a natural, electrical vortex. As I walked around it, I was simultaneously connected, through this grid, to other electrical vortexes around the world such as Mt Shasta in California, the Grand Canyon, Mt Everest in the Himalayas, and Mt. McKinley in Alaska. By imagining the Earth as having an energetic system, we can relate to the planet and better feel our interconnectedness. Bell Rock is also considered to be a “beacon” vortex, providing an opening or a portal that connects our planet with other planets and celestial bodies outside our solar system. From this place, Earth sends out energy to the Universe as well as receives it by contributing to a “celestial grid.” Visiting this spot allows you to connect with your higher consciousness and sensitize to your own connection with other dimensions and unlimited possibilities. On my walk around Bell Rock, I was able to find evidence of the vortex energy in the twisted trees and sandstone rocks shaped into perfectly round balls called “vortex stones.” The areas containing the twisted trees were especially potent. I chose to meditate in those areas and connect with the earth and the celestial realm.
