Dear network, May I seek your kind assistance! Our team at UNU-EHS will shortly be visiting following five urban areas to undertake urban resilience assessment through stakeholder consultations: Windhoek (Namibia), Ngaoundéré (Cameroon), Bargny (Senegal), Damietta (Egypt) and Zanzibar (Tanzania) Are you based in one of these areas or would you happen to have recommendations for us -individuals/organizations active in the urban planning/climate change/resilience/development space who would like to share their experiences with us? We plan to interact with NGOs, community based organizations, academia, private sector and government entities. We deeply appreciate your assistance in finding right stakeholders to shape this work that will eventually provide urban resilience baseline for Africa to the African Union. Thanks a lot!!
