RFA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Finance to lead our finance team and provide strategic and operational oversight for all financial activities. As a key member of RFA's leadership team, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to catalyze equitable and just education programs, policies, and systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our fiscal operations, compliance with financial regulations, and the overall financial health of the organization. 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐑𝐅𝐀: RFA is a nonprofit educational research organization based in Philadelphia, committed to impactful, community-engaged research. Our work spans critical topics such as teacher diversity, postsecondary education reform, program evaluations, and the impact of systemic issues on vulnerable student populations. As our recent projects like the "We Need More Black Teachers" initiative and studies on English Learner student mobility demonstrate, we are dedicated to producing research that informs action and promotes just education systems. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: ▪️Lead financial planning and analysis to support RFA’s strategic plan. ▪️Oversee all financial strategy, management, and reporting. ▪️Supervise the finance team (Comptroller and outsourced financial consultants). ▪️Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations. ▪️Maintain the organization’s financial stability and health.
