Teaching is more than a profession; it's a noble calling. Educators shape future generations, imparting knowledge, values, and skills that influence students' worldviews and destinies. Teaching demands emotional labor, requiring empathy, compassion, and dedication. Effective educators foster holistic development, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth. Contrary to the notion that teaching is a 9-to-5 job, educators work tirelessly beyond regular hours, adapting to meet diverse student needs. Their impact resonates throughout communities and society, shaping leaders, innovators, and citizens. Recognizing teaching's value is crucial for creating a supportive education system. Educators deserve gratitude for their tireless efforts. By acknowledging their dedication, we can work towards attracting and retaining top talent, improving teacher morale, and enhancing student outcomes. Teaching's transformative power deserves respect and recognition. It's time to reevaluate teaching's importance and prioritize educators' well-being and development.

Distinguished educators, From the bottom of my heart, I wholeheartedly greet and wish you a happy resumption. I hope these few message finds you well and in high spirits. I am passionate about teaching and dedicated to the development of this noble profession. I am an advocate for quality education and learning. I would like to speak up for the brilliant teachers who are transforming the teaching profession. It's a privilege to be a member of this esteemed profession of teachers. it is pertinent to note as a teacher, your knowledge is wasted unless it has an impact on the students you teach in your classroom. As teachers, we should realize that whatever we teach students in the classroom must resonate with their minds and become a part of their history. Delivering our lessons should be creative and innovative. As a teacher, continuous learning is something that will surely contribute to our growth. The most valuable tool for our improvement as teachers is feedback. As teachers, we should create a channel for feedback from colleagues and even our students. We should set aside ego when it comes to learning. We should broaden our understanding of modern technology to better instruct students and improve teaching and learning. New technologies continue to emerge, and as teachers, let us explore and learn to enable us to fit into 21st-century teaching. As teachers, we should fix our thinking and create better classrooms in our minds. In addition, we should make our classes interactive and interesting for learners. I boldly state that our role as educators in shaping lives and imparting knowledge can never be overstated. As a matter of fact, our profession and influence extend far beyond the corners of classrooms. We are trailblazers and agents of change in building the next generation of competent leaders. In conclusion, let's upgrade and improve our teaching skills, as this will enable us to compete in the global space of education. Wishing you all a happy resumption filled with prosperous moments. Greetings from Shosanya Babatunde Oluwaseyi Ph.D in view ( **Music*education* )

Good Teaching is Good Teaching is Good Teaching One of the most impactful lessons I’ve carried with me from my time as a student was this simple yet profound statement from one of my college professors: “Good teaching is good teaching is good teaching.” At its core, this phrase speaks to the universality of high-quality instructional practices. Among these, one of the most powerful is explicit instruction—a practice often associated with special education but just as vital for general education settings. Explicit instruction is a high-leverage practice that benefits all learners, regardless of their age, background, or unique needs. It involves: ✅ Clearly defining learning objectives ✅ Modeling skills or concepts step by step ✅ Providing guided practice with immediate feedback ✅ Gradually releasing responsibility to the learner This approach is not just about meeting compliance requirements or supporting students with disabilities—it’s about ensuring every learner has access to the clarity, structure, and support they need to succeed. When I think of explicit instruction, I’m reminded of how equity and excellence go hand in hand. By making learning clear and accessible, we foster confidence and competence in all students, from those who thrive on structure to those who might otherwise feel left behind. As educators, let’s remember that great teaching strategies aren’t confined to specific groups of learners. They are foundational to helping all students reach their full potential. What’s a teaching practice or philosophy that resonates with you? I’d love to hear how you approach equitable and effective instruction! #Education #TeachingStrategies #ExplicitInstruction #EquityInEducation

A strategic framework for educators in 2025 is vital for shaping teaching and learning in varied classroom environments. It is important to recognize that there are no entirely new concepts in the world. However, educators must engage in introspection, improve effective methodologies, adjust those that are ineffective, and consistently enhance their skills to stay in tune with modern educational trends. Educators should foster a positive attitude, set achievable goals, develop new skills, stay organized, encourage creativity, make learning enjoyable, and adapt their teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of their students. Furthermore, nurturing a culture of forgiveness and refraining from taking issues personally is essential. Lastly, continuous professional development and prioritizing personal well-being are crucial. I take immense pride in being part of this profession.
