In today’s celebration of Women’s History Month, we recognize Jessica Fisher, M.A. Ed., Senior Account Manager on our Publisher Relations Team. Jess brings a unique skill set and background to RedShelf, with over eight years of experience as a teacher and instructional coach at Chicago Public Schools, and she holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University. In her role at RedShelf, Jess ensures that our publisher partners’ course materials are available to faculty and students at campuses across the country. Over four years with the company, she has specialized in providing seamless service to some of the largest publishers in the world. Jess is passionate about inclusion and wants everyone to feel like they have a voice; she brings this philosophy into her work with our publisher partners. Likewise, Jess wants her colleagues and potential partners to feel seen and heard - and this quality makes her a great team member at RedShelf. Jess’s advice to women in the workplace: “Just be yourself and do not settle for anything that is unsatisfactory regarding your own personal work goals, ethics, or your worth. Don’t be afraid to speak up when something is making you feel uncomfortable.” Jess’s female role models include WWII code breaker, Jane Fawcett, US Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Mattel co-founder, Ruth Handler, and educational visionary Maria Motessori.            Thank you for everything you do for our team, Jess!
