Acid reflux is common amongst so many people and they supress symptoms using ENO or gaviscon. More serious/ chronic acid reflux is managed using PPIs which reduces stomach acid. We have a lot to learn about dietary fats. What are the two most important foods you eat everyday? = O3 and O6 fats. Why? They are master precursors for the master regulatory system (the endocannabinoid system), they are the master precursors for the hormone and immune systems and much more. The fact that most of us cannot even answer this MOST BASIC and SIMPLE question about our existence is STUNNING. We use these fats to build mediators for every major system in our bodies. If we do not eat them somewhat in balance we have consequences almost EXACTLY like what we see in our society today. Chia "seed" oil is an EXCELLENT sources of omega 3 fats. Pumpkin "seed" oil is an excellent source of omega 6 fats. There are certainly some horrible "seed" oils, but lets not throw them all out. When you look at nutrition from the aspect of a cell, all the BS and narrative fall away. While a cell will run on glucose (sugar) that is not how YOU are optimized. You are optimized around dietary fats. As to energy you are 20X more powerful and efficient burning fats over sugars. You build the mediators that you need to run your entire human form from dietary fats. There are four useful dietray fat categories. -Saturated fats (should be around 30% of our fat consumption and is now like 70%+) (these come from animals and is the main fat in animal fat). Saturated fats can also come from nuts and things like an avocado. Nuts and seed will be more naturally balanced with several of these fats. Saturated fats are inflammatory as they impact TLR4 which will increase inflammation. -Mono-unsaturated fats (MUFA) (should be 50% of our fat consumption is is less tha 20% now). MUFA's come from seeds and nuts and are found in oils. Olive oil has a high amount of oleic acid which is a MUFA. Avocados have a high amount of MUFA. Our current corn feed meats contain far less MUFA than grass feed meats. Meat is only as good as the nutrients it consumes. MUFA's are anti-inflammatory. -Omega 6 fats (O6) (should be around 5-10% of our fat consumption). We all get PLENTLY of O6 form the corn products we consume. O6 is ESSENTIAL and you must have it daily. It is ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FOODS YOU EAT DAILY. It should be eat in BALANCE with omega 3 as it is an inflammatory fat and has to be balanced with omega 3 for proper immune function. Right now we are SEVERELY and DANGEROUSLY overconsuming omega 6 fats. -Omega 3 fats (O3) (should be aournd 5-10% of our total fat consumption). O3 and O6 fats should be eaten in balance. O3 is also ESSENTIAL and is also ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FOODS YOU EAT DAILY. We are all severely malnourished as to O3 fats now. This is the very reason why we have such reactive and inflammatory initial immune responses at present.
