As we track the 2024 logistics hiring market, here's a few trends we're finding... - #Sales talent remains in high demand for most #freightforwarders - California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee/Alabama are particularly hot - Sales experience in healthcare, medical, tech, and semiconductor verticals are highly valued in All US markets - Account Mgmt, Leadership, and Operations opportunities remain more limited than Sales - However they are sharply trending up from last year, and our southeastern US states seem to be leading the demand - Some forwarders and brokers report seeing volume growth now in Q2, while a majority expect their volumes to return circa Q3 Overall, I see two of the top ten forwarders playing true offense right now. They win consistently because they train & execute consistently. Their efforts will snowball, and the results of their investments will only set them further ahead over the coming years. HIRING TRENDS - Its no secret that the amount of Account Management and Carrier related roles has been slim to none the past two years, in this Sales heavy market. I have had so many conversations with these folks and more times than not, the news I have to deliver is "It's all about timing and yours will come." You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring more transactions by improved coverage of the prominent routes of the existing transporters and maximum utilization & available of trucks from the fleet owners, improving their dependency on us. Your strategic thinking and excellent communication skills will be essential in achieving success in this role. Key Responsibilities: 1. Key Account Management: Take ownership of the select transporters and fleet owners by building deep understanding about their working, their prominent routes and how we can help them in growing their business through our platform. 2. Sales and Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed the number of transactions and revenue with select transporters and fleet owners to achieve your set targets on daily, weekly & monthly basis. 3.
