This is a great case study highlighting the potential for collaboration between digital providers to help solve challenges for utilities and empower their personnel. This is the culmination of decades long dream for me. Many of Murfreesboro's managers and operators are close friends of mine. Ever since I was their consultant, I have wanted them to have a model that they could interact with on their own to understand how their pumps work and how water moves through their distribution system. Now, through the collaboration of Specific Energy and Qatium, they have both.
We're proud to spotlight our partnership with Specific Energy, where real-time data and digital twins are helping utilities like Murfreesboro Water Resources Department (MWRD) extend pump life and improve flushing. The partnership between Qatium and Specific Energy enables utilities to access high-frequency, real-time data on flow, pressure, valve and pump settings, valve and pump status, and tank levels.
