Employee Spotlight: Sjoukje Boersma's journey at Cygnific 🌟 Reflecting on my journey at Cygnific, I recently emptied my locker and filled my motorcycle trunk with years' worth of memories. Each chapter has shaped my career and personal growth in meaningful ways. B2C: Making the Connection I joined Cygnific at the age of 23 as a Business to Consumer (now Sales & Services) Agent. The role was demanding, but I found ways to incorporate creativity into my daily tasks. I created a flipbook filled with tips, focus points, inspiring quotes, important phone numbers. Using mandala drawings, I connected with customers, making my workday more enjoyable and effective. Next to my Agent job, I also took on an Editor role for the Cygnific Magazine and Weekly newsletter, further nurturing my creative side. KM: A Helicopter Ride Above All Products In 2017, I transitioned to a Knowledge Management Coordinator role. I loved creating clear overviews and transforming long texts into easy-to-read work instructions. Our team ensured that every change was well-communicated and understood across all Air France KLM operations. During the pandemic, we worked tirelessly to ensure that all ad hoc changes were quickly available in ASK. Quality Coordinator: Just Landed After five years in Knowledge Management, I embraced a new opportunity as a Quality Coordinator. My goal is to develop clear guidelines and checklists for Team Leads, ensuring a unified approach to improving team quality results. My KM background helps me connect the dots between departments, as quality is inseparable from knowledge. Personal Milestones During my time at Cygnific, I also achieved personal milestones like getting my motorcycle driver’s licence and working remotely from Gran Canaria. These experiences enriched my life and provided a healthy work-life balance. As I embark on this new chapter, I’m excited about the future. Hi, I am Denise, a Machine Operator here in Nitto Americas. I have been with Nitto for over 19 years and I spent 18 of those years working in the same department. In the last year, I took on the challenge of moving into a new department where I’ve had to learn a lot of new things. For me, even though the machinery and products are different, my approach to taking on challenges remains the same: “Stop, Look, Listen & Ask for Help.” What this means is that when I face a challenge or problem, I stop what I am doing and take a step back. Then I look and listen to try to determine what is causing the problem. And I ask for help to either help identify the problem or fix it. When faced with a challenge, it’s important to remember that there is always a solution but sometimes it can be difficult to find if you get frustrated. My advice for anyone faced with a new challenge is: Don’t be afraid. Keep pushing yourself and you will find a way through. #Nitto #takingonchallenges
