What is the biggest lesson President and CEO, Erik Wexler, learned over the past year as he transitioned into his new role? Erik shared with Becker's Healthcare how he met with more than 4,000 people from across our seven states, from medical staff members and frontline caregivers to board members and administrators, to gain valuable perspective and populate our new strategic plan for 2030. ➡️ Learn more: http://ms.spr.ly/6046q9uOo #healthcareleaders #healthcareleadership
I feel that Erik is a very important part of what providence represents. A leader that listens to his employees, medical staff and other leaders. He understands that he’s part of a collective of caregivers that makes Providence a great place to work at. Train employees like they can work anywhere but treat them so they don’t want to leave.
Great Work! Erik Wexler 👏🏻
EriK, well said. Providence is lucky to have your insight.
Orrin Woodward said it best, "A leader must inspire, or his team will expire." We enjoyed the post and insight, Providence

1wI worked at Lifebridge Northwest Hospital when Erik was the President and CEO. I was always so impressed that he knew every employee by name. He routinely had lunch with the staff as well. A true leader knows their employees and values their opinion. Erik is a true leader!
