🚨 Understanding Costs: How a Seller Almost Missed a Winner! 🚨 💡 We all know fees are inevitable. Sure, you could raise your prices to offset them, but that might price you out of the market! Instead, look at Product Costs and Landed Costs—areas where you have control. 👀 Product Costs = What you pay per unit to the factory 🚢 Landed Costs = Total cost to get shipments to their destination ⚠️ Averaging shipping costs across shipments could be a costly mistake! Allocate costs proportionally based on size and SKU. Using CBM (cubic meter) can provide accurate shipping costs and prevent profit loss. 📈 🔍 Recently, we helped a client save a product from the chopping block. By shipping directly from China to FBA, we shaved off $1.25 per unit—turning it into a winner! ✅ Accurate numbers = Better decisions! Know your true costs to identify your winning products. 💻 Get precise COGS and unit prices without spending hours in spreadsheets. 📊 Find your winners and grow profitably! I have two small retailers wanting to purchase some bags. How should I think about pricing breaks and % discount at those breaks? Is there a standard? Or a calculation to follow? ex: 50 units - 10% discount 100 units - 20% discount 500 units - 30% discount Max units - max discount? What margin percent should I aim to keep?
