Henna designs are intricate, beautiful, and deeply symbolic, and your jewelry should complement—not compete with—this artistry. The key is to choose pieces that enhance the patterns of your mehendi while maintaining a balanced, cohesive look. For instance, floral-inspired jewelry pairs beautifully with floral mehendi motifs, creating a harmonious theme. If your mehendi has geometric patterns, opt for jewelry with clean lines, like bangles with lattice designs or angular necklaces. Haath phools (hand harnesses) are especially effective for highlighting henna on your hands, as they add elegance without covering the design. When it comes to bangles, thin stacks allow your mehendi to shine through, while statement kadas or cuffs can add drama to simpler patterns. By carefully coordinating your jewelry with your bridal henna, you can create a stunning look where every element works together seamlessly. #StyledByShuchita #HennaJewelry #BridalStyle #MehendiMagic

#Jewelry can be many things—beautiful, luxurious, even a status symbol. But the kind of jewelry that stays with you, the kind you treasure, often carries something more: meaning. And that’s exactly what Castro Smith captures in his work. His intaglio-engraved rings feel like modern-day talismans, rich with symbolism and storytelling. In a world where people increasingly want their jewelry to represent something personal, Castro’s designs are perfect: • Symbolism in Every Detail: From mythical creatures to floral patterns, each engraving carries a message, whether it’s strength, protection, or connection to nature. • Deeply Personal: These aren’t just rings; they’re pieces that can reflect a part of your story, values, or even dreams. • Masterful Craftsmanship: Using the ancient technique of intaglio, Castro creates intricate engravings that feel both timeless and fresh. What I love most is how his work taps into the growing desire for jewelry that isn’t just decorative but meaningful. A ring from Castro Smith doesn’t just say, “Look at me”—it says, “This is who I am.” If you’re someone who loves the idea of carrying a little piece of your story with you—or gifting it to someone special—his jewelry is worth exploring. #CastroSmith #IntaglioJewelry #JewelryWithMeaning #PersonalJewelry #JewelryDesign #SymbolismInJewelry #JewelryLover #JewelryCraftsmanship Do you think jewelry should tell a story? It’s not every day that you get to design a piece of jewelry that embodies the essence of family. Recently, my best friend—a brilliant lawyer and former athlete—entrusted me with a deeply personal request: a Christmas gift for his wife. But not just for her—for their daughter too. “Two of the same,” he said, “something symbolic. I leave it to you.” At that moment, I realized this wasn’t just jewelry—it was a legacy. A family heirloom that would speak to the bond between mother and daughter while carrying the love of a father. And it had to do more than just shine; it needed to whisper meaning, evoke connection, and, of course, remain true to the sleek, timeless identity of FARAONE MENNELLA by RFMAS . After days of sketching, reflecting, and, yes, a bit of creative agony, I found the answer in simplicity and symbolism: two interlocking circles, one nestled inside the other. A delicate balance of diamonds and gold, representing the unbreakable bond between mother and child. Modern yet timeless, this piece carries a story hidden in its curves—a tribute to love, protection, and connection. I’ve named it “The Embrace”—because that’s what it symbolizes: a mother’s unconditional love encircling her child, forever linked by the father who made it possible. Designing something this personal wasn’t just a challenge; it was an honor. It reminded me why jewelry is so much more than an accessory—it’s the keeper of our stories, the quiet witness to our bonds. What do you think? How do you capture love and legacy in design? #faraonemennella #jewelry #bespoke #family #heirloom #design #designprocess #jewelrydesign

Lighting plays a crucial role in how your wedding jewelry and attire appear in photos and in person. Different lighting conditions, such as daylight, candlelight, or artificial lighting, can affect the sparkle and color of your jewelry. For instance, diamonds can look more brilliant under certain lighting, while colored gemstones may change hues. Understanding how lighting interacts with your attire and accessories helps you choose pieces that will shine in every setting. Additionally, planning for lighting during your ceremony and reception can ensure that your jewelry looks its best throughout the event. Proper lighting can enhance the details of both your attire and jewelry, creating stunning visual effects. #LightingAndJewelry #WeddingPlanning #BridalBeauty #StyledByShuchita #Anutammam

COLOR DILEMMAS FOR THE JEWELRY DESIGNER: Managing, Challenging, Exploiting and Violating Color Theory Color is the single most important Design Element. Most artists and jewelry designers learn about how to use and control for color in art schools. They learn about how colors are perceived. How to combine colors and maximize the appealing effects of such combinations. How the perceptions of color vary, given the context, and how to anticipate these variations. These art theories work well for those who paint. But not so well for those who design jewelry. Continue reading the article: https://lnkd.in/eiB_Ck9G

Profilo V. Ring A ring composed of two cardboards in contrasting colors that allows for interaction with the wearer. The two double contoured outlines are alternately "obscured" by the inner outline hinged in the finger that slips it on. The ring is conceptually inspired by Angelo Mangiarotti's (1921-2012) "Vera Laica" model, where the static "functioning" of the ring occurs only when it is worn. Profilo V.
