Immigrated to Ireland, and guess what? Had to get a PPSN - Personal Public Service Number, the equivalent to a Social Security number - to register to pay taxes and to do many other legal things, perfectly within the bounds of being a non-citizen immigrant. This is normal in the U.S., this is normal in many, many other countries. And this is why people who want to investigate, research, audit things need *someone* with actual knowledge of what they're looking at, at least a smidge of subject matter expertise.
They shouldn’t be allowed to anything unless they are citizens, we have our own Americans who worked their whole lives contributing to SS and then between them stealing it and non citizens collecting they want us to now possibly wait until 70

My take and suggestion is that for a moment the action of people trying too hard to destroy and stop some other decent immigrants with good intentions and will to abide by the law. Check the profile of people leading the process if you check deeply they are all children some immigrants who have been given a chance to have a voice. In some cases someone them had to paint a bad image of the countries they are coming from to be able to attain citizenship, but just because they had illegal pathway, they subconsciously don’t understand and appreciate when people with great minds give others a fair chance without having to talor or doctor their profile
WTF. I am one of those green card holders that have been paying into the system for 40 years, income taxes, social security, and Medicare, hundreds of thousands of dollars. And now that's somehow being questioned?! That pisses me off!
