Poliform is teaming up with Allied Marine, leading player in the yachting industry, as the exclusive furniture sponsor for a lineup of luxury yacht shows. From Fall 2024 to Spring 2025, Poliform will showcase a curated selection of products from the brand’s latest Outdoor Collection throughout key cities in Florida, bridging the world of luxury furniture and yacht-making for both international visitors and local enthusiasts. The collaboration kicked off in Fort Lauderdale on the occasion of the 65th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and will continue in Miami in February 2025, before landing in Palm Beach in March 2025.

Feadship gives up its stand at Monaco Yacht Show Feadship of the Netherlands has decided to give up its stand at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. The Dutch superyacht builder is one of several that traditionally has a stand on the central strand of the T-Jetty area of the show. In a statement, Feadship told IBI: “Indeed we will not have an exhibition stand in Monaco. In a strategic move that redefines the traditional exhibition approach, Feadship has decided to forgo a conventional stand presence, opting instead for an exclusive showcase of its exceptional yachts and a thoughtfully curated hospitality lounge. “The featured Feadships,” the statement added, “will take centre stage, accentuating their groundbreaking design, innovation, and impeccable quality. The decision to forego a traditional stand underscores our dedication to highlighting the essence and brilliance of each Feadship creation in a more relaxed and engaging setting.” Feadship states that: “Furthermore, this move aligns with Feadship’s sustainability objectives. Feadship reduces its environmental footprint by eliminating the need for extensive construction and dismantling associated with a traditional booth and will focus on the hospitality area of the yachts on display.” Although not mentioned as a reason, the ever-rising cost of exhibiting at Monaco is understood by IBI to be a source of increasing concern among some of the leading exhibitors at the show. A source close to such exhibitors and the show organiser has suggested that the action by Feadship may lead to others following in its path.
