GM has updated its Customer Specific Requirements for IATF 16949 with an effective date of January 31, 2025. Updates include: Updated section 8.5.1.1 to align current Control Plan requirements with the new AIAG - Automotive Industry Action Group manual 1st edition Inclusion in section 9.2.2.3 that the organization shall upload its annual CQI-35 assessment for Wiring Harness Systems and CQI-34, Software Assurance Approval. Updated section 8.6.2 to require a design inspection of all dimensional requirements on at least 5 parts. Inclusion of section 8.6.3: GM Appearance Approval Report.
