2024 was a rollercoaster for us to say the least! But we’re back in action and going from strength to strength with so much more knowledge and experience than we had before. Here’s some of what we learned: 🏠 Our heart is in Shoreditch We had a great time being part of the Canary Wharf scene with our venue expansion, but as you know we’re only operating in Shoreditch right now, the heart of where everything Platform began! Our place in Canary Wharf looked a lot more like what we have in mind for a “finished product” version of the Platform you know and love, so watch out in Shoreditch for any changes to match that feeling in our flagship bar. 🎮 Console gaming is super social We find our patrons are at their most social with a drink in one hand and a controller in the other. Our console booths are very well suited to party games, making our Cocktails & Controllers deal (pictured!) a total hit with groups of any size. Plus, it’s a lot easier to banter with your mates when you’re not hooked up to a headset! 🧬 Platform is ever-evolving Between Shoreditch and our previous Canary Wharf venue, we’ve tried a little bit of everything! Racing simulators, retro gaming, board games, and of course our well loved gaming setups. You can tell what stuck, but we’re always thinking about how we can evolve our venue and our approach to our customers. 🚀 What’s next for us? We’re keeping our focus on Shoreditch, as mentioned that’s where our heart is. But we’re taking the first year since reopening as a step-by-step approach, learning as we go and making decisions with our investors’ insight. 🚀 Big news for Arizona's gaming scene! The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is set to break ground on their third casino, Casino Del Sol Grant Road, on January 13 in Tucson. This 172,000-square-foot facility promises to be a vibrant addition to the local economy and community. The new casino will feature a 73,000-square-foot gaming floor, complete with a high-limit room, sportsbook, poker room, and a variety of table games. For those seeking dining options, the venue will boast four new food and beverage venues, including a center bar, restaurants, and a quick-service outlet. Beyond gaming and dining, the Casino Del Sol Grant Road will also serve as a hub for conferences and events, thanks to its expansive facilities. A four-level parking garage and additional surface parking ensure ample space for visitors. This development is more than just a gaming venue; it's a testament to the Pascua Yaqui Tribe's commitment to cultural preservation and economic growth. Enabled by the Old Pascua Community Land Acquisition Act, the project will bring significant economic benefits to the region, creating jobs and funding vital community, healthcare, and educational initiatives.
