🚀 Leading the Way in Additive Manufacturing! 🚀 In October 2024, our experts gave a presentation on additive manufacturing at Plansee at WorldPM24 in Yokohama. Dirk Handtrack presented a detailed comparison of various additive manufacturing processes for tungsten heavy alloys and compared the mechanical properties achieved with conventional manufacturing. 🛠️🔬 We are proud to announce that these outcomes are published in the prestigious Journal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy within the article “Additive Manufacturing of Tungsten Heavy Alloys – A Technology Assessment of Sinter-based AM Processes”.📄🎉 This scientific paper was written in collaboration with Lukas Partner, Rafael Ferreira Cury, Mahot Pascal and Bernhard Mayr-Schmölzer. The article highlights the results of investigations on sintering-based additive manufacturing processes carried out with elemental powder mixtures to produce WHA parts.
