Planned PEThood is hiring Veterinary Professionals in Duluth, GA Planned PEThood, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has openings for three veterinary professionals at our headquarters in Duluth, Georgia. Most positions offer a four day work week, competitive salary based on experience and benefits package including health, vision and dental insurance. Planned PEThood provides affordable veterinary care including spay and neuter surgery, vaccinations, preventative medicine, and community assistance to pet families. In addition, we offer services for shelter animals and community/feral cats. Current openings include: Staff Veterinarian – Wellness/Foster/HQHVSN Provide excellent medical care to Planned PEThood’s foster pets and public Wellness clientele. Provide thorough and compassionate examinations and treatments for public Wellness and foster patients. Perform HQHVSN surgeries when available, also willing to perform other “minor” surgeries to affordable care clients. Ensure excellent pre-, peri- and post-operative care of surgery patients. Uphold Planned PEThood’s reputation for compassion and public service by maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Spay/Neuter Veterinarian Accomplished spay and neuter surgeon responsible for ensuring the Planned PEThood team provides excellent pre-, peri- and post-operative care of surgery patients. Ability to sterilize approximately 25+ animals (mix of dog/cat; male/female) per day – or capacity to get there. Veterinary Technician Under the direction of veterinary staff, ensure effective and efficient processes. Provide excellent pre-, peri- and post-operative care of surgery patients. Provide thorough and compassionate examination and treatment for patients, assist in outreach events/vaccine clinics when needed.
