SPEED - a few days ago at Bahnhofstrasse 62? Well, if we observe the frenetic pace of people on Bahnhofstrasse, speed seems quite fitting here. On the other hand, products and collections are experiencing increasingly shorter lifecycles. Winter arrives when shop windows suggest the spring/summer collection. Manufacturers are compelled to become more flexible, shortening their development and production cycles accordingly. Not so in the luxury industry, where consistency guarantees price stability. Genesis offers three fully electric vehicles - the GV60, eGV70, and eG80 - equipped with 800V technology since their launch, enabling the fastest possible charging and still staying ahead of many other manufacturers. This developmental advantage allows Genesis to place all models successfully in the market for longer periods, as luxury must endure. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/eCkBTxS9 #ItsAboutTime

🌟 Throwback Thursday: The History of the Sunroof 🌟 Let’s take a moment to appreciate the evolution of the sunroof, a feature many of us love in our vehicles today! The Early Days: The first sunroof appeared in cars during the 1930s, primarily as an optional feature in luxury models. It was a manually operated metal panel that allowed fresh air and natural light into the cabin. The 1950s-70s Boom: Sunroofs gained popularity in the 1950s and 1960s, especially in European cars. By the 1970s, they became a mainstream feature, with pop-up and tilt-and-slide designs introduced. Around this time, the term “moonroof” was coined to describe a glass panel sunroof that allowed light in even when closed. Modern Innovations: Today’s sunroofs come in many forms: Panoramic Sunroofs: Stretch across the roof, offering breathtaking views. Solar-Powered Sunroofs: Provide ventilation without using the car’s battery. One-Touch Systems: Make operation seamless with advanced technology. 📊 Fun Fact: Over 80% of new SUVs sold in 2023 featured some type of sunroof or moonroof! Why Do We Love Them? Sunroofs add a touch of luxury, enhance ventilation, and make road trips more enjoyable by connecting us to the outdoors. 💬 What’s your take on sunroofs? Do you have one, and if so, do you love it? Let’s discuss in the comments! #ThrowbackThursday #AutomotiveHistory #SunroofEvolution #CarFeatures #InnovationInDriving #LinkedInCommunity
