Happy New Year! 🎉 As we step into 2025, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the year gone by—our achievements, the challenges we faced, and the lessons we learned. Every experience, big or small, shapes us and offers an opportunity to grow. For me, 2024 was a year of personal and professional milestones. It was a year of collaboration, resilience, and learning. I am incredibly grateful for the people I’ve worked with, the new connections made, and the moments that pushed me to be better. As we move into 2025, I’m committed to continuing this journey of growth and improvement. It’s a chance to set new goals, embrace fresh opportunities, and focus on what truly matters—making a meaningful impact and supporting those around us to thrive. To my friends, colleagues, and network: may this year bring you success, fulfilment, and joy in every aspect of your life. Let’s make 2025 a year of action, progress, and shared achievements. What’s one thing you’re looking forward to in the new year? Let’s inspire each other to start strong! #HappyNewYear #2025Goals #GrowthMindset #ReflectionAndAction

Move over, job seekers! This Diwali, our cleaning tools are taking over the job market! #OpenToWork By influencing from the psychological principle of relatability, Blinkit connects with its audience's pre-Diwali sentiments, making the boring task of cleaning feel festive and fun. This approach not only showcases their products but also positions them as a part of the celebration. In the era of digital marketing, this strategy exemplifies the power of humor and relatable content in engaging an audience. And this post also falls into basic rule of advertisement that is, indulging humour, leveraging with emotion, exaggerating a bit and showcasing what value you ought to deliver and you are good to go!

Blinkit clearly hasn't thought this ad through. This post can be interpreted negatively in many different ways by people currently having the "Open to Work" tag. Even I couldn't comprehend this at first. I am currently looking for an internship and have the "Open to Work" tag, and these are three thoughts that crossed my mind at first - 1. When people add "Open to Work", they might feel as if they are actively saying "Hire me so I can clean up your messes! After all, that's how much I'm worth anyway!" 2. People new to LinkedIn might end up thinking "Open to Work should not be taken so seriously. Only desperate and low-income or low-profile people use it". 3. Is this how Blinkit views people (even as a joke)? As someone who cleans up other people's messes and then is left in a corner until another cleaning is required? Also, for anyone still thinking this is clever/good marketing: It's absolutely not. There's a reason why companies invest so much into good marketing and why marketing can make or break a brand's reputation. Such ads should be posted on forums or websites where content like memes, jokes, dark humour and the like are circulated. Not on a professional and serious platform like LinkedIn. This ad is very disrespectful, insensitive and very ignorant of people's sentiments. Please understand that this post doesn't intend to hate on Blinkit. It's just that this ad/post is a terrible promotion attempt. #badmarketing
