We had an unforgettable day earlier this week when we came together for the Peters “Bucket Your Buddy” event. Our 6 brave volunteers took the plunge by getting drenched with a bucket of icy water, raising over $1,500 for MND research. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated and purchased a beanie!
We want to thank the FightMND team who joined us on the day and extend our deepest gratitude to Bec Daniher for sharing her heartfelt journey with MND and her father’s courageous fight against the disease.
We are proud to be supporting the Big Freeze 10 in partnership with Coles Group and Fight MND for the second year in a row. This time, it’s with a NEW limited edition Peters Icy Pole Blue Lemonade 8 pack. $1 from every pack sold in Coles supermarkets or online, will be donated to FightMND until the 21st June. Together, we’re freezing for a reason and helping to create a future without Motor Neurone Disease.

In celebration of #GivingTuesday, we're excited to announce the relaunch of our nonprofit partnership program, "BeeKind with BuzzRx." Since its inception in 2013, the BeeKind program has achieved a notable milestone this year, donating over $10 million to its charitable causes. By simply saving on their prescriptions, customers directly contribute to these four life-saving causes at no additional expense:
💫 Make-A-Wish America: Helping grant local wishes for children with critical illnesses.
🐾 ASPCA: Supporting vulnerable animals in shelters, increasing their chances of adoption.
🍎 Food Banks, members of Feeding America: Providing meals to food-insecure individuals, including children, seniors, and hardworking families.
🧡 National Kidney Foundation Raising awareness and enhancing access to care for those battling chronic kidney disease.
"I believe that the growth of BuzzRx is intrinsically linked to the development of the communities we serve, allowing us to thrive together,” notes Matthew Herfield, Co-Founder and CEO of BuzzRx. “Every time someone saves using a BeeKind BuzzRx card, we make a donation—at no cost to the cardholder. It's a genuine win-win that transforms savings into meaningful impact."

Thank you for the support - we’re up to over £2,800 in donations to the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association and there is still time for you to make a generous donation!!
Please like/share and donate anything you can to support the lives of people impacted by this devastating disease.
It touches so many people, and every donation makes a difference to the life of someone living with MND.
Here’s how we can help:
🔸£10 provides an information pack to a newly diagnosed person with MND so they know what to expect and how to access support.
🔸£27 funds an MND connect help line advisor for one hour, allowing them to provide information and support for anyone affected by MND.
🔸£75 funds an MND expert researcher for half a day, helping the association better understand the disease.
🔸£160 will buy a specialist communication app, allowing someone who has lost the ability to speak to continue communicating with others.
🔸£200 provides 40 copies of ‘So what is MND anyway?’ A guide for young people affected by MND
🔸£600 funds a seat riser, allowing someone with MND to raise their wheelchair so that they can reach shelves and talk to someone at eye level.
🔸£750 helps to fund a wheelchair ramp allowing someone with MND to continue to enjoy their garden and access to local community.
🔸£1,000 will pay for detailed analysis of the DNA of someone with MND to support further research.
🔸£2,250 provides a text to speech device to give someone the ability to continue communicating with their loved ones.
This September 29th I’ll be taking on the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks Cyclocross Race and doing my bit to raise funds in support for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.
The UK IT Leaders Community is also hosting a charity evening which I will be attending with guest speaker Kevin Sinfield CBE in support for MNDA on 24th September and together we’re hoping we can make a real impact!
Any support will be greatly appreciated and if you fancy a fun day out in Yorkshire, head up to Pen-Y-Ghent mid-late morning on Sunday 29th to cheer on the 400 riders as take on the final ascent/descent of what will be a gruelling day! 🫣😅
This week, Phi Kappa Psi collaborated with the Hunters Fund, a foundation dedicated to supporting the interests of young people and raising awareness to end distracted/impaired driving. We thank all participants and supporters for their contributions to our cause. Throughout this week, we have successfully raised $7,860 and signed 1,616 pledge cards. Our campaign officially ends on December 31st. If you are interested in participating, please click the link below.

There are two ways to help support this cause.
1. Donations help our cause a lot; every donation goes back to Hunters Fund, an impeccable organization that eliminates this everyday habit.
2. Sign a pledge card. The cards include your name and the words, “I will end distracted and impaired driving.” The more pledges we get signed, the better for all of us! The more pledge cards we get signed physically or electronically, the more we will reduce distracted driving deaths.
Puppies make a difference! By incorporating a touch of puppy love in our emails, we’ve increased our positive reply rate by 50%.
For every email response we receive, regardless of its nature, we donate puppy food. Just last month, we donated 18,750 bowls of puppy food.
Some clients hesitate to incorporate a charitable donation to puppies in their emails, thinking it might clash with their brand. But the data speaks for itself: people across all industries and management levels love puppies. This small touch catches attention and fosters a positive perception of the brand while feeding hungry pups!
Imagine if replying to an email could help feed puppies. Would you read and respond to that email?

When I joined Grace & Green in 2022 as Head of Growth, my very first presentation to the Board was about how we took what had been created in Period Dignity and use this to have a much wider impact on both the business and the world of work. How would we make Period Dignity the market leader (with very little money to spend to do so)?
I don't have enough space in this post to work through exactly what I set out in that meeting, however it boiled down to:
✌ Understanding the impact we want to have: It's always been about more than supplying products - Education is woven into the threads of Period Dignity.
To achieve period dignity we need access to information, availability of products and acceptance within workplace culture - we designed our offering and continue to develop everything we do around these pillars. This was summed up perfectly by a client (John) who said "Grace & Green don't just supply a product, they create a CULTURE". Exactly John.
✌ Remember who we are and why we are doing it: Unsurprisingly, the workplace space has and is becoming more competitive. This is excellent news, as more businesses embrace free period care as a basic right, and especially comforting how many are choosing a more sustainable providers. As now Chief Commercial Officer, it's also mildly stressful (mildly 🙃 ).
However, dignity continues to be about more than avoiding getting caught short, it's about embracing inclusivity and supporting our Members to deliver dignity for all, no matter of age, gender identity, or how they experience their period. There's still a long way to go, and we've got SO much more coming here...
✌ Treat every customer like they are absolutely making our day. This is perhaps a small business mindset, or when many of the team have done almost every job in the company. We all remember the THRILL of winning our first big contract, the DELIGHT of walking into a shop and seeing our products on shelf, or randomly walking into the bathroom BEAMING seeing our products. We don't take for granted the fact we get to be in people's everyday.
(For me this has never worn off, my heart still skips a little when I process an order, receive a tender award notice, or see a customer talking about us on socials.)
Particularly grateful for our team for supporting our phenomenal YOY 120% growth, for challenging, pushing our vision and positioning, and for being excellent.
I'm incredibly proud of what we and our members are doing to drive inclusivity, awareness and dignity within their workplaces and educational establishments. I can't wait to see what the next two years can hold.
Happy Birthday Period Dignity. x
Two years of Period Dignity 🎉
It's #WorldMenstrualHygieneDay and we're celebrating two years of making periods dignified and accessible for everyone.
Since launching, our Period Dignity scheme has helped over 400 businesses, schools and public institutions provide sustainable period products to those who need them most.
Together we've:
❋ Supplied 9 million free-to-access sustainable period products
❋ Delivered 9,800+ free period packs to those who need them in partnership with local councils
❋ Stocked 60+ universities and schools with Grace & Green products
❋ Donated £97,000 worth of period products to charitable organisations, including local food banks, in 2023 alone.
Thank you to our community and incredible partners and supporters for making helping us make a difference.
Check out our visits to New Cut Coffee, BIMM University, OVO, Watershed, and Wiper and True. Thank you Honeywell Bakes for our beautiful birthday biscuits.
This initiative to donate breakfast items to FareShare UK in partnership with Arla Foods UK is commendable and addresses a crucial need for vulnerable and disadvantaged populations. However, it's important to critically examine the impact of such donations in the broader context of addressing food insecurity. While immediate relief is provided, long-term solutions to systemic issues of poverty and inequality should also be considered. Additionally, assessing the sustainability and scalability of such partnerships is essential to ensure lasting impact beyond the immediate donation.
We're really proud to have partnered with Arla Foods UK to donate the equivalent of 1.25 million breakfasts to FareShare UK 🥣
The donation of Shreddies and Cravendale milk will help to build breakfasts for organisations that support vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
The dedicated team at our Staverton factory made this donation possible, producing additional stock to enable us to make a positive difference to the lives of thousands of families across the UK. Thank you to everyone involved for their invaluable work!
Hi Friends! We're collecting beverage pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House! We'd love your help in raising funds for this amazing charitable organization.
Where do I take my tabs?
Saving pop tabs is easy. Simply remove the tab off your cans, save them up and drop them by our office at 2420 Iowa St. Can't get out? - send us a message and I'll come by and collect them :)
Why pop tabs and not the entire can?
Because pop tabs are smaller and easier to store. The tabs are also paint free and pure aluminum, which increases their value and profit when recycled. So, pull your tabs for Ronald McDonald House, but be sure to recycle the cans.
Here are some fun facts about tabs:
• One pound of tabs is about 1,500 tabs.
• Each tab measures about 1 inch, so there are 12 tabs in one foot.
• It would take 63,360 tabs, placed end to end, to reach a mile.
• One million tabs end to end would stretch 15.78 miles.
Thank you so much - this small act can help many - we appreciate you - let's make a difference 💖
