Grundfos Foundation | PDJF’s Post

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) | Læger uden Grænser and the Grundfos Foundation | PDJF enter new Emergency-Relief-Partnership that will provide DKK 5 million over the next two years to support urgent medical relief in crises and forgotten emergencies. “Support like this is invaluable, and it gives us the flexibility and trust we need to act fast and bring life-saving care to people caught in conflict and disaster – including those who are overlooked or underreported,“ explains Anne-Mette Krøyer, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Læger uden Grænser (MSF), Denmark. One of those places is #Afghanistan, where the first DKK 1 million has already been allocated in the face of a major measles outbreak in three regions, a crisis that affects children most severely. Since the Taliban takeover, access to healthcare has deteriorated sharply, especially for women and children. MSF teams are on the ground providing essential medical care and medicines through hospitals and mobile clinics - treating common illnesses, malnutrition, and containing disease outbreaks. #MédecinsSansFrontières #Partnership Photo: Male doctor tends to a patient (boy approximately 6 years old) Text: Partnership with the Grundfos Foundation ensures medical aid in Afganistan.
