Earlier this week, Zilch was proud to have helped StepChange Debt Charity kick off Debt Awareness Week with their first session at #Zilch HQ yesterday. A big thanks to the brilliant Richard Lane, Chief Client Officer of the charity, for joining our #panel to speak about the crucial need of educating consumers about debt and the importance of being FCA regulated. Opened by our CCO, Ryan M., and hosted by our VP of Service Performance, Ruchi Mohabe, the session saw our SVP of Credit, Fraud & Collections, Syed Yasir Rizvi, and Richard discuss the critical role responsible lenders like Zilch play in helping millions of consumers manage their finances responsibly. Topics included: ✅ Regulation as a force for good in the BNPL lending space  ✅ Support those who need it to gain access to responsible  and affordable credit ✅ Reducing the stigma around seeking help and debt advice A huge thank you to Richard, Syed, and Ruchi for leading such an important, engaging, and necessary conversation with our staff over lunch. Back in January 2023, Zilch partnered with StepChange, becoming the first BNPL provider to do so.
