Swipe Analysis Checking out Crystal Rain Distillery this evening and their Kristone Vodka. Let's get right in. First glance - The post is simple. 3 lines, with a very simple call to action and a very easy direction to the readers next steps. The image itself is also very crisp and clean. The colors used were strategically used. Deeper analysis - The simplicity and conciseness are the best weapon in this swipe's arsenal. It wastes none of the reader's time and shows understanding that summer is fleeting and that the fun and memories are to be had now. The connection to the enjoyment of summer and all things associated with it are clear. Crystal Rain did a fantastic job with this part, inviting the reader with every line. The CTA is clearly defined, and includes an easy way to reach that next step, which is purchase. Takeaways 1. simplicity and implied urgency are great tools when used correctly. 2. The use of sensory appeal is equally effective, and in this industry has more persuasive power than using flavor profile . 3. The use of drink psychology is the most valuable asset in this piece of copy, and would only work for this kind of product. Drop a 💯 if you read this all the way through and leave any suggestions for further analysis in the comments or DMs. #spirits #wine #beer #marketing #swipefile

🌟MINCEMEAT🌟 It's not mince. And it isn't meat! 🤯🤔 In the UK and Ireland, many of us love munching on mince pies at Christmas, but have you ever wondered why their filling is called 'mincemeat', even though there's no meat in it? It turns out that long ago, mince pies actually did have meat in them. They went by different names like 'mutton pie,' 'shrid pie,' or 'Christmas pie.' They were stuffed with meats like mutton, rabbit, and pork which is why the filling is known as "mincemeat." Back then, blending sweet-savoury flavours together was common, hence the meat/fruit combination. During the Tudor period (15th - 17th century), mince pies were rectangular, symbolising a manger, with a pastry baby Jesus on top. It was typically a main course dish that was created using 13 ingredients to represent Jesus and the 12 disciples. Mutton was a popular ingredient as it was used to represent the shepherds. And spices were used to represent the gifts given by the three wise men. Honey and dried fruits were luxuries so using them boasted wealth. Therefore, mince pies became treats for important events. However by the mid-17th century, it seems that a connection was made between mince pies and Christmas. Notably, Samuel Pepys known for his historic diaries enjoyed mince pies at Christmas. The exact time when meat was taken out of the mince pie recipe isn't clear, but by the Victorian era they became sweeter, resembling the modern mince pie we know and love today. Mince pies have become a Christmas essential and are now not made from 13 ingredients. They're filled with a delightful blend of dried fruits such as raisins, currants, orange, and lemon peel with suet. Spices like cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg add that extra Christmassy flavour, and most come with a special touch of added brandy! 😉 I love mine warm, with a dollop of cream on the side! Christmas simply isn't complete for me without a few jars of homemade mincemeat in the house 😋🎄 Do you like them? #christmastraditions #culturalheritage #englishcoach

The morning ran away from me so I'm running a tad late for my #MondaySparks: 1. With the growth of #zeroproof #beveragesolutions, a lot of what we talk about is the flavor...of course. If you're going to market something as a gin, whiskey, bourbon, etc. substitute, there are expectations about taste that have to be met. But drinking alcohol is about other experiences beyond just flavor including that warm "burn" you get. That has been extremely hard to replicate, though more spirit-free beverage companies are trying including Free AF | AF Drinks. Their new Whisk#y Ginger features Afterglow(tm), a botanical extract that mimics that feeling of warmth. It's an important reminder that while flavor rule, food and beverage experiences are not just flavor and exciting and engaging other senses can create far more dynamic experiences. Are you focusing on sense beyond sight and flavor in your #innovation process? (https://lnkd.in/e3saRXRQ) 2. Búho Soda recently launched a line of premium tonics, but what I find fantastic about these are the flavors. Sure, there are other flavored tonics out there but these are complex, internationally inspired, and really interesting. How easy is it for us to focus so much on innovation outside the basics that we forget the basics can be in desperate need of revamping? What we've seen happen...endlessly and continuously...with ranch dressing is another example of how a basic element suddenly because a lot less basic. (https://lnkd.in/e5SFXNpw) 3. In a recent survey Mike Kostyo and I fielded, over 80% of consumers say they get more joy from anticipating a great meal than reminiscing about a great meal. Building that anticipation can be challenging beyond making the reservation. Here we need to lean on creative #hospitality, #technology and think beyond how we "always do things." At the Office of Mr. Moto, they are building anticipation by requiring patrons to decode an email before the visit. How can your operation, or brand, build anticipation before consumption? Is this a technology play, or a way to showcase your exceptionally trained and committed staff? What does anticipation look like for the experience and brand strategy? #trends2024 #restaurants #foodandbeverageindustry #consumerinsights #consumerbehavior #foodservice #cpg
