Who is responsible for creating our lives? #ourselves or #destiny ? #padsmusings #gnaanpetals - _Destiny_ (or fate) can present circumstances and opportunities that shape our lives. Some events are beyond our control, like our birth, family, or unexpected life changes. - _Ourselves_ hold the power to make choices, decisions, and actions that create our life's path. We can respond to circumstances, seize opportunities, and forge our own way. In essence, destiny may deal the cards, but we play the hand. We are co-creators of our lives, navigating the interplay between fate and personal agency. Think of it like a river: - Destiny is the river's course, shaped by external factors. - We are the sailors, navigating the river, making choices about where to go, how to adapt, and what to create along the way. Ultimately, our lives are a dynamic interplay between the two. By acknowledging and embracing this balance, we can take ownership of our choices, learn from our experiences, and create a life that reflects our values, passions, and purpose.

Hey everyone! I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts that have been on my mind lately. We often find ourselves in situations where we feel impatient or anxious about the future. It’s easy to wonder if things will ever fall into place or if our dreams will come true. But there’s a comforting truth that I believe in: “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” This message reminds us that we are not alone in our journeys. Sometimes, we try to rush things, thinking we can make them happen on our own. We push and pull, striving for results, but life doesn’t always work that way. There’s a bigger plan in place, one that unfolds in its own perfect timing. Think about it: every season in nature has its time. Flowers bloom in spring, trees bear fruit in summer, and leaves change in autumn. Just as nature has its rhythm, so do our lives. It’s okay to wait. In fact, waiting can be a time of growth and preparation. It’s during these moments that we can learn more about ourselves, develop our skills, and strengthen our faith. Trusting in the Lord means believing that He sees the bigger picture. He knows what’s best for us and when we are truly ready for what we desire. Remember, every day is a step towards that right moment. When we let go of our worries and embrace patience, we open ourselves up to unexpected blessings. Sometimes, what we thought we wanted isn’t what we truly need. By trusting in God’s timing, we can find joy in the journey itself, rather than just focusing on the destination. So let’s take a deep breath and remind ourselves to wait with hope. Let’s keep working on ourselves, nurturing our dreams, and trusting that when the time is right, everything will fall into place. Remember, you are never alone on this journey. Stay strong, keep the faith, and trust that wonderful things are ahead! #HeMakesItHappen #DivineTiming #FaithInHisPlan

Gathered with friends on a cozy evening, I found myself captivated by a Filipino movie titled "Hello, Love Again." As we laughed and cried together, one scene struck a deep chord within me, leaving me in reflective tears. A character spoke about how some destinations in life are merely stopovers, while others are meant to be more permanent. This moment of cinematic insight opened my eyes to the transient nature of our journeys, reminding me that not every place, job, or relationship is our final destination. It was a poignant reminder that life, much like travel, is full of unexpected detours and temporary layovers. This revelation encouraged me to reconsider how much weight we often place on our present circumstances. We sometimes cling so tightly to where we are, fearing change or clinging to certainty, without realizing that we might just be passing through. Our current situation, no matter how challenging, might just be a stopover on the way to something greater. This perspective can offer comfort and hope, helping us to see that what feels permanent may only be a stepping stone to our true calling or happiness. Every stopover enriches our journey, adding depth and experience that prepare us for what lies ahead. Embracing the idea of stopovers allows us to loosen our grip on the present and embrace the possibilities of the future. It reminds us that life is fluid, ever-changing, and filled with the potential for growth and discovery. So, as you navigate your own journey, consider this: your current path might be leading you to a place you’ve yet to imagine. Trust in the process and remain open to the roads yet traveled. Each stopover, no matter how brief, has its purpose in shaping the narrative of our lives. Let us cherish the journey, with its temporary destinations, knowing that they are guiding us towards where we’re truly meant to be. #mirandism #unapologetic #unapologeticdude #stopover #temporary

Day 6 Takeaways from The Purpose Driven Life - Life Is A Temporary Assignment 1. Life on earth is extremely brief compared with Eternity, and the earth is our temporary residence. 2. As we sojourn here on earth, we must learn contact without contamination. 3. It takes faith to live on earth as a foreigner 4. When life gets tough, when overwhelmed with doubt or wondering if living for God is worth the effort, we must be reminded we are not home yet What are your takeaways?

Imagine standing on the shore, looking out at the vast ocean ahead, knowing you’re about to embark on a voyage. Epictetus, the stoic philosopher, likened life to this very experience. He said life is like preparing for a sea journey—you can carefully choose your crew, map your destination, and decide the best time to set sail. But once you're on the water, you don’t control the waves, the wind, or the storms. All you control is your reaction to them. This timeless wisdom reminds us that life’s preparation is in our hands, but the journey will always be full of surprises. Choose your crew wisely: Surround yourself with people who uplift, challenge, and support you. Map your destination: Have a clear sense of purpose, knowing where you want to go. Set your course: Take action, step forward, and commit to the journey. But here’s the hard truth: once you set sail, life happens. The calm seas will inspire you. The storms will test you. The winds will redirect you. And in every moment, your response—not the circumstances — determines whether you arrive stronger, wiser, and closer to your destination. In the face of adversity, ask yourself: Will I let the storm break me, or will I adjust my sails? Will I curse the wind, or will I harness its power? Will I cling to fear, or will I trust my preparation and my crew? Epictetus teaches us that our power lies in this: choosing how we react and what meaning we give to what happens. Life’s sea will not always be calm, but every wave teaches us something. So, as you navigate your voyage, remember that the goal is not just to reach the destination but to become the kind of sailor who thrives on the open sea. 🛶✨ How will you face the waves today? Channeled Guidance for Oct 7-13 As always take what resonates and leave the rest. This is a week of welcoming more joy into your life. To opening your heart and mind to new experiences and prioritizing happiness and fun. To prioritizing play and taking time off from the monotony of our everyday lives. To play like a child, without being attached to the outcome. How can you welcome more joy into your life? What can you do just for fun? What do you want to celebrate? This card, from Rebecca Campbell’s The Healing Waters Oracle, is a wonderful one to receive and is always an invitation to stop being so serious, to play, and to have more fun. When we play, we’re able to release the pressures and stress that we’re carrying and switch off.. When we do this, the two hemispheres of the brain can make connections, and solutions that we previously couldn’t see come flowing in. So… How can you welcome more joy into your life? And for the 6 goddesses who are coming to Greece for our Atlantis retreat, here is a special one, specifically for us! Here we come face to face with perhaps some of the greatest, deepest, expansive, unknown, huge and awe-filled adventures. Over our 5 days together we will be tapping into the sense of awe, wonder and “whoa!” we can feel, when exploring the sacred energies of Atlantis. May we all be open to the grace that is whispered from the heavens and within all things. We won’t be focussing on just learning about these energies, but exploring Atlantis as a gateway into deepening our own sense of wonder and having an EMBODIED experience of the sacred. I can hardly wait! Love you all!
