The new Elite Training Academy Sports Performance Complex in Baton Rouge represents a groundbreaking step in advancing athlete care and performance. Its collaboration with Ochsner's Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute sets new standards for sports medicine. "We talked about Ochsner's sports medicine vision and the model that we were trying to strengthen and build in the community," shared Jeremy Burnham, MD, director of sports medicine for Ochsner. "It made a lot of sense to team up with them and have synergy between us. The model is based on the care model that happens in professional sports, in the NFL, for instance."
