My heart, filled with anger and confusion, goes out to those impacted by the horrific tragedy that plagued New Orleans this week. Families and a community forever changed by an act of terrorism. A place of celebration and parades now filled with grief and sorrow. I’d like to extend the most sincere gratitude to the teams of investigators working tirelessly as the situation unfolds. Teams, similar to the global force we have at Owl Consultancy Group, interviewing key witnesses on the ground, understanding the behavioral motives and full background of the perpetrator, and working against the clock to puzzle together the why behind such a heinous act in hopes of future prevention. I know firsthand that the investigative work on the ground in New Orleans isn’t easy and I applaud the urgency and resilience exercised by law enforcement and the investigators in times of crisis with heavy media attention. Our approach to actionable intelligence has allowed our expanding team to penetrate terrorist networks, find missing children in human trafficking investigations, and solve gruesome criminal cases that make the average person’s stomach turn.
