As we approach the six-month sprint to 2025, I'm reflecting on the incredible strides we've made at the Houston Land Bank - HLB. 🚀📣👷🏾♂️We've activated nearly 40 acres of programming simultaneously, each project in various phases and tailored to meet unique community needs. This journey requires a team that is both intentional and dedicated, and I couldn't be prouder of the commitment and talent we've brought together. 🚀📣👷🏾♂️At HLB, it's not about the number of homes we build; it's about creating a pipeline of progress for equitable community development. We understand that I can't give 100% to everything, but by adopting a holistic and comprehensive approach, we ensure that every effort counts. 🚀📣🦸🏾♀️I'm no superhero, but I wear a cape sometimes because you have to fly and have faith and vision to bring your partners along. Together with our partners including but not limited to US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), City of Houston, Harris County Housing Finance Corporation, CenterPoint Energy Houston Housing Authority, we're not just building structures; we're collaborating, educating, and strengthening communities. Our mission goes beyond the physical spaces we create.
