I am incredibly grateful to the staff and community at WBEC for the insight and guidance they provide for me and the Omlie Consulting team! I had just celebrated my 7th birthday when the Women’s Business Act was passed in October 1988. The act granted women the right to access business loans without requiring a man to cosign. Though Omlie is a fully self-funded business, I can't help by reflect on all of the missed opportunities for women and perhaps how much better our world would be had they been able to build companies and workplaces that value people over profits. Thank you, Women's Business Enterprise Center East (WBEC East), for 30 years of expanding opportunities for women and small business entrepreneurs.
